Collection: TOHOKU IZUMI

Founded in 1902, this brewery makes smooth and round sake using the spring water from Mt. Chokai. The brewery has an estimable achievement of winning the gold prize for 10 years in a row at the Annual Japan Sake Awards. But Ms. Chika Takahashi, the owner of the brewery, is modest about that and aims for a not-showy sake that emphasizes meals. The former owner and master brewer also left great activities and had a big impact on the breweries in Yamagata prefecture. Takagi brewery, famous for the sake "Juyondai", is one of the breweries that were influenced from them.
